Scheme of Examination: Eligible registered candidates will be shortlisted based on valid GATE Score (Not GATE Marks or GATE Ranks) in descending order in each category of respective subject/field. The assessment of the shortlisted candidates will be made on the basis of performance in two stages. The first stage would be a Written Examination (CBT Based) consisting of Objective/Multiple Choice Questions and the Second Stage would be
an lnterview as per the details given below: –

| Note-1: The question papers will be set in English only. Note-2 : There will be four alternatives for the answers to every question. | Note-1: The Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Stage-I shall only be called for Stage-II. The Interview will be conducted at New Delhi Only. |
Selection Procedure:
(i) Eligible registered candidates will be shortlisted based on valid GATE Score of respective subject/field. The ratio for shortlisting will be 1:25 (i,e 25 candidates for every vacancy), subject to availability of sufficient number of eligible registered candidates till the ratio of 1:25 is attained.
(ii) The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in Stage-l (Written Examination) where minimum qualifying marks shall be 50% for Unreserved category and 40% for reserved categories.
(iii) The candidates, who are shortlisted on the basis of their merit position in Stage-l (Written Examination) and reservation policy, shall only be called for Stage-ll (lnterview) in the ratio of 1:4 (No of vacancies: No of candidates).
(iv) Out of maximum 50 marks for Stage-ll (lnterview), minimum qualifying marks will be 50% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category candidates.
