Upcoming Railway Jobs – Big Announcement – 14 Crore Man-Days Employment for Indian Railways in 2018-19
Introduction: The biggest employer in India is Indian Railway having 17 zones. These zones are managed by the Railway Recruitment Board. The boards recruit technical and non-technical staff through the recruitment exam as per the syllabus fixed according to the positions. Some posts come under the Union Public Service Commission, and some posts comes under the Railway Recruitment Boards. The boards further divided into the zones. The positions are based under groups like Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D.

Railway Jobs – Technical Cadre Examination

Railway Jobs 2019 – Non-Technical Cadre Examination
Technical staff is not only the need of railway. All works like ticket collection, ticket issuing, accounts works, file management and various administration works handle by non-technical works. The posts come under non-technical staff like clerks, typist, stenographers and cashier.
Group ‘D’ Posts: Group ‘D’ posts include porter, Gateman, parcel porter, helper, track-man, Safaiwala, Gangman, Khalasi, peon in various departments like traffic, civil engineering, mechanical, electrical and S& T. RRBs appoint group D posts through Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and written test. The basic qualification for these posts is a class 10th standard.
