- Application Scrutiny: Applications received by the closing date will be scrutinized and candidates shortlisted based on eligibility criteria.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Aptitude Test (if applicable): If more than 5 times the required number of eligible applications are received, SAIL-BSL may conduct a Computer-Based/Aptitude/General Management/Psychometric Test through an external agency. Minimum qualifying marks: 50 percentile score. Shortlisting for interview will be in the ratio of 1:3 based on CBT performance.
- Direct Interview (if applicable): If less than 5 times the required applications are received, all eligible candidates may be called directly for interview. Minimum qualifying marks for interview: 50%.
- Personal Interaction/Interview: Short-listed candidates will appear for personal interaction (physical/virtual mode) to assess relevance and qualitative aspects of work experience, qualifications, professional/extra-curricular achievements, projects handled, articles/books/papers published, etc.
- Merit List: Final selection merit list will be drawn by combining CBT and interview marks with weightage of 80:20 respectively. In case of tie, candidate with higher CBT marks will be preferred; if still tied, candidate with higher marks in eligibility qualification will be selected.
- Travel Reimbursement for Interview: Candidates called for in-person interview will be reimbursed single to-and-fro travel charges equivalent to 2AC train fare (shortest route, distance more than 30 km each way) on production of documentary proof.

Other Important Information:
- Nature of Engagement: Fixed term engagement as Young Professional (Contract for Service); purely temporary basis, not a regular employment.
- Tenure: Initial tenure up to 3 years, extendable by another 2 years (one year at a time) at company’s sole discretion, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Minimum Age: 23 years (as on closing date of application).
- Engagement Hours: 8.5 hours/day, 6 days/week; shift timings as applicable; may be required to work beyond prescribed hours at no extra cost.
- Leave: 1.5 days per completed month (18 days/year); no accumulation beyond calendar year; absence beyond 18 days in a year is not payable.
- Annual Increment: Subject to satisfactory performance, annual increment of 4%, 7%, or 10% in monthly consolidated retainership fee.
- Accommodation: Outstation YPs may be provided 2-BHK at Rs. 3,000/month (YP-3 may get 3-BHK at Rs. 5,000/month), subject to availability. Initial 3 months: Guest House/Transit House at Rs. 200/day (subject to availability).
- Medical Facility: OPD & IPD at Company Hospital for self, spouse, and two dependent children (free of cost); no referral facility. Mandatory self-insurance; reimbursement: YP-1 up to Rs. 20,000/year, YP-2 up to Rs. 25,000/year, YP-3 up to Rs. 30,000/year.
- Communication Expenses: YP-1: Rs. 800/month; YP-2: Rs. 1,000/month; YP-3: Rs. 1,200/month.
- No PF, Pension, Gratuity, PRP, or Loans/Advances are applicable.
- Termination: During first 6 months: 7 days notice by either party (no notice pay). After 6 months: 1 month notice or 1 month retainership fee in lieu. Absence for 15+ days without sanction may lead to immediate termination.
- Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech must be Regular/Full time with minimum 65% marks. Distance/correspondence/off-campus qualifications are NOT eligible.
- Candidates from Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies must produce NOC at interview and release order at joining.
- Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- (non-refundable); additional bank charges to be borne by candidate.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall be subject to courts/tribunals in the district of Bokaro, Jharkhand only.
