Eligibility Criteria for TS-TET-2024 Notification
Here is the complete qualification criteria for the TS TET 2024 exam as per the official TS TET 2024 notification. Candidates must thoroughly read the complete eligibility criteria before submitting the TS TET 2024 online application form.
Minimum Qualifications for TS-TET Paper-I (Classes I to V):
(i) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However, for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 45%. Plus, passing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
(ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. For SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 40%. Plus, passing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), if the candidate has completed or enrolled in D.El.Ed / D.Ed. course before the issuance of these guidelines (23-12-2015).
Minimum Qualifications for TS-TET Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII):
(i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. However, for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 45%. Plus, passing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
OR
(ii) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. For SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 40%. Plus, passing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education), if the candidate has completed or enrolled in B.Ed. course before the issuance of these guidelines (23-12-2015).
OR
(iii) 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks. For SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 45%.
OR
(iv) Graduation with the concerned language as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in the concerned language, plus Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with the concerned language as one of the Methodologies, for Language Teachers.
OR
(v) B.E/B.Tech with at least 50% marks. For SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required are 45%. Plus, passing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education).
TS TET 2024 Exam Fee
Candidates applying for the TS TET 2024 exam must pay the application fee according to the following table. The process to pay the application fee for the TS TET 2024 exam is entirely online. The application window is open from March 27 to April 20, 2024. Candidates must ensure timely payment of the fee on or before the deadline. Applications with fees paid after the deadline will not be accepted by the officials.
The application fee structure as per the TS TET 2024 official notification is as follows:
- For either Paper I or Paper II, the examination fee is Rs. 1000/-
- For both Paper I and Paper II, candidates need to pay Rs. 2000/-

TS TET 2024 Exam Pattern
According to the TS TET 2024 official notification, the exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking. The TS TET 2024 exam comprises two papers.
- Paper-I is for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V.
- Paper-II is for candidates aiming to teach classes VI to VIII.
Individuals intending to become teachers for either classes I to V or classes VI to VIII must appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II.
