Assam PSC Combined Competitive Exam 2023 Selection Procedure
Stage of the Examination:
The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two successive stages:
- The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- The Main Examination (Written & Interview)

The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each.

Assam PSC Combined Competitive Exam 2023 – Application Process and Important Instructions
We are delighted to inform you about the upcoming Assam Public Service Commission (Assam PSC) Combined Competitive Exam 2023. This prestigious examination is a gateway for individuals aspiring to join the esteemed services in the state of Assam.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply for the Preliminary Examination online through the official website “https://apscrecruitment.in” only. No other mode for the submission of applications is valid. Here are the key details regarding the application process:
A) The online applications can be submitted from 12.00 Noon, 17th January 2024, to 6th February 2024, till 5.00 P.M. After this period, the application link will be disabled. The last date for payment of the prescribed fee is 8th February 2024, till 5.00 P.M.
B) Candidates should carefully go through the detailed instructions provided in Appendix I before submitting the online application. Ensure that all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination are met. Admission at all stages of the examination (Preliminary, Main (Written), and Personality Test) is provisional, subject to satisfaction of the prescribed eligibility conditions.
C) While submitting the application form, candidates must select their preferred examination centre carefully. If a candidate appears at a centre/venue other than the one indicated in the admission certificate, they will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
D) Candidates currently serving in Government positions (permanent or temporary) are required to submit an undertaking, stating that they have informed their Head of Office/Department about their examination application at the time of the interview. It’s crucial to note that if the Commission receives communication from the employer withholding permission for the candidate to appear at the examination, the application may be rejected, and the candidature cancelled.
