SAMEER Project Engineer Recruitment 2026 – 147 Vacancies

Contractual Appointment: These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER. The duration of the contract is TWO YEARS or the duration of the project, whichever is less. Selected candidates will have no claim or right for continuity of service or automatic extension of the contractual term.

Note on Vacancies: The number of positions are purely indicative which may decrease or increase depending on suitable candidates being selected and approved and as per project requirement.

Posting Location: Selected candidates may be posted in any of the project sites in the country as per requirement.

Age Limit Calculation: The eligibility date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications, i.e., 25th January 2026.

Experience: Experience acquired prior to obtaining the essential qualification shall not be taken into consideration. Mere experience of working at SAMEER shall not confer any preferential claim.

Minimum Qualification Marks: Only those candidates who possess the prescribed degree/certificate with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded by the concerned university/board on or before the closing date of application, shall be eligible for consideration.

Candidates Awaiting Results (Project Engineer): For Project Engineer positions, candidates who have already appeared in the final examinations between April and July for concurrent academic year and are awaiting results may also apply. Appointment shall be subject to production of the pass certificate at the time of joining, provided they have secured 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in all declared semesters.

Documents Required at the time of Written Test/Interview:

• Proof of Date of Birth
• Passport size photograph
• SSC mark Sheet
• HSC mark sheet (as applicable)
• ITI Certificate (for Project Technician Posts)
• NCVT Certificate (for Project Technician Posts)
• Qualifying exam passing certificate (as per post applied)
• Qualifying exam marks for all years (as per post applied)
• Experience certificate (duly signed and stamped) as applicable.
• Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST) in prescribed Govt. of India format
• Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (OBC)
• Valid Disability Certificate (PwD) as per Govt. of India norms

Candidates should bring one set of photocopy of all documents for submission with application along with originals. The application form should not be sent by post.

Travel Allowance: No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the screening test and/or interview.

SAMEER’s Discretion: SAMEER reserves the right to accept or reject any candidature at any stage of the recruitment process without assigning any reason thereof. SAMEER also reserves the right to cancel, restrict, enlarge, modify or alter the recruitment process, if circumstances so warrant, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason.

Eligibility Compliance: Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post applied for. Furnishing false or incorrect information, suppressed material facts, or not meeting eligibility criteria will lead to rejection/termination of candidature/service.

Restriction for Previous SAMEER Engagements: Candidates who have previously been engaged with any SAMEER Centre as Research Scientist, Project Engineer (PE), or Project Associate (PA) for an aggregate period of five (5) years or more shall not be eligible for appointment to the posts of Project Engineer or Project Associate.

Nationality: Applications of Indian citizens only shall be considered.

Accommodation: No candidate shall have any right to claim accommodation. Accommodation may be provided subject to availability, on a shared basis and on payment of monthly license fee and rental charges as per the prevailing rules.

Canvassing: Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
