Kerala TET Exam Application Fee
Here is the Kerala TET exam application fee. Candidates are advised to carefully review the official Kerala TET 2024 notification before making any payment of the application fee.
- General Category Candidates: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates: Rs. 250/-
- Payment Mode: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card
Kerala TET Exam Qualification Criteria
Paper/Category 1 – Lower Primary Classes (Class 1-5):
- Minimum 45% marks in 12th/10+2 (or equivalent).
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- 12th/10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a qualifying 2-year diploma in elementary education.
- 12th/10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Paper/Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8):
- Graduation in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC).
- 12th/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks along with qualifying in a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Graduation in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. with a minimum of 45% marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
Paper/Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12):
- Graduation in BA/BSc/B.Com. with at least 45% marks along with a B.Ed.
- Degree in the relevant subject with an MSc.Ed. degree.
Paper/Category IV – Language Teachers:
Candidates with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in teaching in any subject approved by Universities/NCTE/Board of Examinations/Government of Kerala are eligible. Candidates qualified for the posts of Language Teachers (Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu up to Upper Primary level), Specialist Teachers, and Physical Education Teachers as per Chapter XXXI of the Kerala Education Act and Rules can apply for Kerala TET 2021 Paper IV.
